Release: OroCommerce Bridge – EE 1.1 & CE 1.3

Exciting news: today we announce not one, not two, but three new releases! We are proud to present you with the OroCommerce Bridge, Community Edition 1.3 and Enterprise Edition 1.1.

OroCommerce Bridge

As an OroCommerce technology partner, we are excited to introduce you to the OroCommerce Bridge! The OroCommerce Bridge allows for OroCommerce business owners to add powerful back-office capabilities to their B2B commerce mix. The bridge allows businesses to integrate Marello with OroCommerce, and use OroCommerce as a SalesChannel in Marello (Enterprise).

The integration between Marello (Enterprise) and OroCommerce can be setup in either a single instance (Marello and OroCommerce installed together) or multiple instances (Marello and OroCommerce are installed on separate servers). Both setups are currently supported. The integration is using the OroCommerce API in order to perform synchronisations between the two systems.

The integration will allow business owners to synchronise:

  • Orders
  • Products
  • Product Images
  • Product Prices
  • Inventory
  • Tax related entities such as TaxRules, TaxCodes and Tax Jurisdictions

Marello OroCommerce Bridge requires Marello (EE 1.1.* or CE 1.3) and OroCommerce (EE & CE 1.5.*) installed in order to function correctly.

CE 1.3 & EE 1.1

Next to the OroCommerce bridge, we have worked on the continuous improvement of Marello. This has lead to a new Community and Enterprise Edition release, with brand new powerful features.

CE 1.3 Release Notes
  • Stopped showing of System SalesChannel group in grid
  • Added “name” attribute to Annotations in Controllers in order to make it easier for overriding the controller
  • Added constraint where desired inventory level should always be greater than the purchase inventory level in order to fix weird side effects of purchase order advices not being accurate or negative numbers
  • Suppliers are not assigned to organisation when created, because of missing organisation field
  • Added support for integrating with OroCommerce

  • Added additional information to Warehouse Select in WHG – SCG linking
  • Added warehouse to Inventory csv Import
