Announcing the Release of Marello OMS+ 6.0

We’re thrilled to release Marello 6.0 in both Enterprise and Open Source Editions. This update brings new features like product import, an Inventory Update API, and expanded business metrics, along with key improvements to optimize your operations. We are excited to announce the release of Marello OMS+ 6.0, available as both Enterprise Edition (EE) and Open Source Edition (OS). This milestone marks a major update in our platform, bringing powerful new features, enhancements, and technology upgrades that help our users streamline their operations and improve their B2B and B2C commerce experiences.

This release is designed to equip businesses with better tools for managing inventory, product data, and channel integration. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in both the Enterprise and Open Source Editions.

Marello OMS+ 6.0.0 EE Release

New Features

With the Marello OMS+ 6.0 EE release, we’ve implemented several new features to enhance the way users manage their commerce operations:

  • Product Import: Simplify the process of importing product data, saving time and reducing manual effort.
  • Additional Business Metrics and KPI Widget: Get better insights into key business metrics with new KPI visualization options.
  • ‘Inventory Update’ API Endpoint: Easily update inventory information through a streamlined API endpoint.
  • Workflow Transition Support API: Transition workflows without requiring additional data, creating more flexible workflows.
  • Associated Sales Channel Option: Add an Associated Sales Channel to a POS Sales Channel to support ‘Endless Aisle’ selling
  • Purchase Order Consolidation: Consolidate purchase orders to streamline procurement

Fixed Issues and Improvements

In addition to the new features, we’ve focused on enhancing stability and performance through numerous fixes and improvements:

  • Updated configuration settings and descriptions for better clarity.
  • Additional filters for Product and Sales Channel Prices in the API for more detailed pricing management.
  • New AR file attribute in the default Product family for greater flexibility.
  • Improved email addresses handling with case-insensitive email addresses on Customer accounts.
  • New expired inventory column on inventory grid when batches are enabled.
  • Added note field for Order Items, enhancing order detail management.
  • Enhanced URL creation for images and additional file attributes.
  • Additional configuration for external warehouse management.
  • Notification message widget added to the sidebar for timely alerts.

Technology Upgrades

We’ve also updated the foundational technology of Marello OMS+ EE:

  • Updated Oro Platform to 6.0.5
  • Updated Oro Platform Enterprise to 6.0.4
